About the Tour of Homes
A Community Tradition
WELCOME to the 26th Annual Tour of Homes. The Home Builders Association of Lane County is proud to present this popular civic event, which has become a summertime tradition here in the Eugene/Springfield area. Whether you are in the market for a new home or simply looking for ideas and resources, there's no better way to jump-start your dreams than to tour innovative new homes by some of Lane County's top builders.
Kick off your shoes, slip into a pair of stylish protective booties, and explore this year's 16 beautiful homes. Take in wine country views. Covet the luxurious finishes. Find inspiration in eco-friendly design elements. And while the July sun heats things up, enjoy the comfort of high-efficiency cooling systems. Feel free to take photos, jot down notes and ask questions of the builders and their design teams. Other local experts, from mortgage brokers to cabinetmakers, also will be on hand and at your service.
This year's Tour of Homes reinforces the fact that now is a great time to build or purchase a new home. Interest rates are holding at all-time lows, and new homes are more affordable to build and significantly more resource-efficient and environmentally friendly than ever before. That translates into lower utility bills, less maintenance, and more free time for you and your family.
As always, the Tour is free of charge. We do ask that you help us support Food for Lane County by making a donation at any of our Tour homes or sponsor locations. For each dollar we raise, FFLC is able to provide three meals for a hungry Lane County resident. Even a small contribution can make a big impact in the lives of those less fortunate.
